Weighted pull-ups: 5 sets of max reps (increase load each set)

WOD
Tabata couplet:

  • push-ups
  • double unders or box jumps

Score is total of the lowest reps completed in a round for both movements of the couplet

  1. It looks like everyone is fighting a hangover or otherwise recovering from too many Xmas parties on the weekend (I had three on Saturday alone).

    Anyhow, we had two attendees this morning.

    We practiced kipping pull-ups and then progressed through sets of five(ish) strict pull-ups, then moved on to the Tabata couplet.

    Michaela got to the red band and Jonathan got to the yellow band. Our goal was to struggle through the movements and therefore not all were full ROM and some sets weren’t the full 5 as RX’d.

    Michaela scored 5+7 and Jonathan 5+8 on the Tabata Couplet.
