I started out doing pullups with a band, couldn’t string together more than 10 pushups with nasty form and didn’t know what a burpee was (wish I still didn’t!)

But I guess we can make it clear, and Adam you can confirm this. I can now do consecutive ring dips without a band with decent form, and that photo is probably only 6 weeks old.
Well I can’t edit my post, but to be clear. I do not discourage the use of bands in development, as is clearly evident above and hold any gripes against those that use them. But my comments were a light hearted dig at Rachel who has an attachment to yellow band pullups when it is clear she can do them un-assisted if she took that leap.
Andrew, I doubt anyone really cares if you use a band or not. Performance and abilities are relative. If you’re using a band now fine, if you’re not fine too. The only problem is using assistance when it’s just not warranted. There has been no insinuation that this is/was the case. Keep your ego in check, try not to offend anyone else and relax…it’s just a bloody photo.
hahaha, my responses today are courtesy of bad food, not enough sleep and not enough time getting to know a good oly bar this week. I hate it
