I'll try this before the week is out. Hopefully a sub-40. FYI Alex/Boz, if you can maintain that pace, you're on track for a 1:25 500m - which is slick. Also, the world record for 500m is 1:13 (geeezus) which would put him through the 250m mark around 36 seconds.

Thanks Bjorn, I think I need to find something extra in the final 50m. I will try again at least once more this week.

The key to the 250m row is short-stroking as long as you can manage, get the rating as high as possible to squeeze in as many strokes as you can. Ideally, you'd be doing a half-slide stroke for the whole thing.
