Who do you think will finish in the Top 3 (M/W) in this year’s CF Games?

Haven’t put much thought into the females. I think the male top 3 will come from Khalipa, Mikka, Rob Orlando or James Hobart.I’ll go
i) Khalipa
ii) Mika
iii) Orlando

I’ve missed more than 9000 shots. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over again. Thats why I succeed!

Might have to change this after I hear what the WOD’s are.

Men

1.  Mikko Salo (he has PR’d almost everything since last year and commands the rower)
2.  Tommy Hackenbruk
3.  Rob Orlando (he will win almost any strength WOD and there will be a couple I imagine)

Women

1. Annie Thorisdottir
2. Kristan Clever

Don’t know too many more female athletes.  Maybe Lindsey Smith?

Take the run out of last years games and Khalipa wins it by a fair bit. Khalipa’s been setting PB’s regularly without the publicity that Mika is getting. They’re both pretty special athletes. I think the games will be streamed live so it will be awesome to watch.

Men

1. Mikko Salo
2. Matt Chan
3. Rob Orlando

Mikko doesn’t appear to have any obvious weaknesses which is the name of the game. If the progression of the Games and the constant pushing of GPP message tells me anything, it’s that the events will be very broad. Chan and Orlando have experience and a strong desire to win. Spealler and Khalipa will be awesome, but I think they are less rounded than some others.

Women

1. Kristen Clever
2. Annie Thorsidottir
3. Kristy Philips

I thought Annie would be nearly unbeatable until recently seeing some of Clever’s scores. I should be very close and I think many women are in with a real show. It will be good to watch.

One thing I hope is that the events are not ridiculous - either in amount or type. Nothing more ‘creative’ than the stake drive would be good. I would really like to see a WOD similar to Eva come up.

Hmm…
I would like Salo to back up this year and from the vids that I have seen he has put on some good muscle compared to last year but I think that Khalipa will be too strong.

1/Khalipa
2/Salo
3/Kelsey

The dark horse for me is Sveinbjorn Sveinbjornsson.

Maybe… although in the regionals last year Steve was a clear standout even above Chris… But Chris was injured in the run last year, and Steve is out this year, so it is hard to say. They will put in a good showing and will give an idea of how the locals stand in the whole scheme of things…

I’m thinking:
1. Mikko
2. Khalipa
3. Spealler…just because I want the little fella to do it.

But i’m thinking a dark horse will probably snap it up…. happened twice now, Khalipa was the dark horse 2 years ago when he dominated in the last event to make Everett poop his dacks, then Mikko last year.

If Gina Carano played crossfit, shed probably win.

but for the guys.

1. Rob because hes been working on his weakness (running)and because of that ring HSPU with 10 kg vest…crazyyy
2. Spealer because hes also been working on his weakness (strength)
I have a feeling there wont be as much max heavy lifts this time around, I think they are gonna go more for strength endurance (heavy strength endurance). but im just guessing this. hence I have spealer 2nd.
3. Miko…this guy is pretty fit, but I think the people has caught on to his style of training and the other people are training to beat him, so I think its a disadvantage for him this time around.
