Trigger Points

As it’s a recovery day in the CV program and I’m sure everyone has taken the time to do their foam rolling, stretching and mobility work like they should. I thought it would be a great time to put up a link to an article on myofascial trigger points which can be a big contributor to pain, motor dysfunction and reduced mobility. Get out your muscle mates, theracanes, tennis balls and golf balls.

Thanks for posting this Thihan - this is exactly what I have been looking for since I bought a foam roller for home a few months ago.

Would you also happen know of any sites with ideas of what positions to use the foam roller in?  I use it on my front and back and legs on the ground, but have also been known to stand with it between my back and the wall and rolled up across it….

Finding the good stuff is easy when you know what you’re looking for. Writing it on the other hand is whole different kettle of fish.
