Our friend Tegyn Angel is at it again. Here’s what he’s up to this time:

I am again competing in the Wild Endurance event to raise funds for The Wilderness Society on May 1st - 2nd 2010, although this year myself and five others will split the 100km into two 50km options (I’m doing a 100km race a fortnight later so wanted to take it a bit easy!).

My goal is to raise $400.00 to play my part in protecting our environment.  Please visit my page and sponsor me in the event to show your support, you can click on the link below to view my page:

For those of you who don’t already know it, the Wilderness Society, formerly Tasmanian Wilderness Society, was formed in 1976 to help protect The Franklin River.  TWS has since played an important role in many of Australia’s most important and effective environment campaigns, including the protection of the Daintree, Shelbourne Bay, Kakadu, Ningaloo Reef, Victorian and South Australian mallee wilderness and the forests of south eastern Australia.  Pretty impressive I reckon and bloody important.

The Wilderness Society is an independent, self-funded, non-profit organisation which relies entirely on the ongoing support and commitment of people like you for its success in maintaining a healthy and sustainable environment.

Using every peaceful means possible, The Wilderness Society works across Australia to secure a safe environment for future generations - by mobilising the community, driving world-class science and exploring sustainable economic solutions.

Thanks for your support!

Tegyn
